Merely stating my opinion, which seems to rile a few people here...and considering they are not even the ones that have been hurt i find that odd they are so eager to jump at the 1st perosn who has the balls to say this thread is only raking up shit that needs burying..

Personally, she hasn't done much at all to me. I didn't chat w/her outside of this board. But, many did. Many invested much personal energy and time into trying to help her make a smart choice for her future.

Personally, I'm glad she was full of shit as I now don't have to worry any longer if her behavior has indeed put her *daughter* into harms way. It's a relief.

You are certainly allowed your opinions. I will say if she didn't want her 'dirty laundry' out in the open she should have been honest w/those that cared about her.

If you look at the OP of this thread, I asked a simple question the same as I once did when Peter Parka disappeared for days, I liked peter and was concerned. While I wasn't very friendly with Sophie she was a "friend" and I merely wondered if I missed her taking a trip or whatever. At the point I started this thread I had no clue about all the rest. Now, having found out privately many other things about her and what she did here, I believe every word in the thread is justifiable. I always wonder how a attorney can defend the heinous deeds of some, like this new domestic terrorist the FBI nailed but somehow they do. No offense to you or your well intended intention, but I think "Sophie" has it all coming.

This is obviously something that a lot of people feel very strongly about. You're telling people that you don't think it's necessary for them to express their feelings about a fictional personality portrayed by an individual that conned a number of people here. You may not feel that it is necessary, but they obviously do. If it's something that you don't like, then perhaps you shouldn't read the thread any further. But I think it's perfectly acceptable for people to express what they feel about the situation, especially those who were personally affected by the lies.

This thread wasn't started as commenting on whether or not a member is/was an asshole. It was started as a legitimate question asking where a member was. Then it came out that "sophie" wasn't in fact even a real person, simply an creation of someone else, used to con members here.
