Wow, you seriously have a martyr complex. You don't seem to be able to deal with anyone daring to disagree with you. I never said that I thought you were a horrible person, nor did I say that you weren't entitled to your opinion. I said that while you have your own opinion, there are many people who obviously disagree with it, who feel strongly about the situation, and would like to be able to express themselves about it.

You made the comment about starting threads for people we think are assholes, hence the reason I brought up the fact that this thread wasn't even started for that purpose. Calm down for a little bit and realize that we're not all out to get you here. There's a difference between having a conflict of opinions and what you're accusing people of.

I've read all of your posts, you've stated your opinion, and others have stated theirs. However, the difference is that you seem to think everyone who disagrees with your opinion is attacking you as a person, and that simply isn't the case.

The problem, as I see it, is that you're taking disagreements with your opinion as a personal affront against you. You're accusing people of trying to burn you at the stake, amongst other colorful illustrations. You're not accomplishing anything except for making people invalidate your opinion based on your behavior.

"Sophie" is not a real person, at least not as "she" was presented. This individual conned and hurt a number of members here. As a result, people feel very strongly about what happened and how they were affected. This thread wasn't started as a "Sophie" is an asshole thread, as you insinuated. People would like to be able to express their feelings on the situation, and you're basically telling them that they shouldn't. Nobody is out to get you here, they're just trying to express their feelings. If you don't agree with it, then you probably shouldn't read the thread.

This is my thread. I started it in complete ignorance of any of the facts except sophie was MIA. I have no axe to grind with anyone here. While this post didn't turn out as I intended it to, I nonetheless wish it would just go away now that it has taken this turn. I would have killed it long ago were I able to.
