What ever happened to Sophie?

is there really a need to publicise it?

I am not a cruel person and I wish nobody any harm but she has hurt people on this site ( and who knows where else ) so I believe this is the place where the voices should be heard. She got herself into this mess for what ever reason and it isn't anyone's fault but her own that her voice can't be heard. Nobody is saying anything slanderous about her. They are just voicing their opinion as to what may have happened to them personally or the cyber group here she belonged to. They are owed that right imo.

Furthermore, IMO the powers to be here didn't give enough information as to what happened but that's their decision. If it were me I would have laid it on the line so everyone was fully aware. I think they cut her more slack than what she deserved. Such is life and to them I extend a pile of credit for playing it cool.

On a personal note I didn't feel everything was on the up & up. Every time I asked her a direct question about B.C. she avoided it like the plague. Now I know it was due to the fact that I live in B.C. and am quite versed on the place having lived all over it. Thankfully I don't get very attached to people easily. ( cept for a few... I'm suckered hook line and sinker )

That's what the pisser of this whole fiasco is. Good, caring people got hurt. It's wrong on so many levels. Period. I have no sympathy for someone who manipulates good people. Whatever their reason. It's just plain wrong.:thumbdown

This isnt the first time..as many are aware i was fooled by another claiming she was dying. I dont feel hate, or anger...only sadness.

This thread really isnt necessary...."sophie" will know what she has lost in means of friendship of many of you here.And will have to live with that.

I dont think its acceptable to rip apart someone who is unable to defend themselves.

Please dont get me wrong...what she has done is very wrong, but instead of judging her on your own pain and how she has decieved you all. Try wondering how much of a life she really has to do something like this?....why would anyone do that?
I dont know who she is, but i have been in a positiion where i have been hurt under the same scenerio.
I guess im trying to say in my own fucked up way is.....she is obviously unstable, and would any of you want her to read all these things written about her? Would any of you wish her obvious mental state to be driven further by this thread? She isnt who she said she was...she fooled many of you...is there really a need to publicise it?

Last time I looked she had not been banned. She lost VIP status but she could come back if she wanted to.

I would only feel sorry for her or wish her well if she has zero self esteem and merely wanted attention. I seriously doubt that to be the case. She used part of the last name of the person in the movie Sophies Choice as her onscreen personna. That tells me this was a cold and calculated con.

I am not gonna spell it all out in case I have already said too much but all one had to do was follow all the things she stated and the claims of things happening to her and her child.

Sorry Wedz but I think this person is a twisted fucker. And I think you would agree if you had been sucked into this like some had. She preyed on peoples emotions in a way that never can be justified.

You have every right to that position. I, on the other hand reserve my sympathy for her victims. Society today often defends evil and ignores the suffering of the victims of it. JMO

I'll commend 'Sophie' with this though - that Sophie got me started reading War & Peace which has indeed lain on my shelf for many a year.
