oh yay, it's almost time for one of my favorite parts of the week... the first of my twice a week absolutely useless meetings. Huzzah!

they're just idiotic... they last about 5x longer than they should because my boss is incapable of going 5 minutes without talking, and so he interrupts the entire time and draws thing out far longer than they should go. Two weeks ago there were three of us in the meeting, and we still went for a fucking hour.
oh and I found out that they used to have the meeting every single fucking day until about a month before I started
Next time... just casually look around and say "Based on what everybody makes per hour... how how do you figure this meeting is costing the company? $400... $500? Just curious..."
I did that once.... manager stopped the meeting cold and sent us back to work .

that's fucking brilliant. The best part is that it probably costs us about $1,000, because we have two consultants on the phone with us, and the CIO and Network Manager of our parent company as well.
