As to your team owner he was very good. Up in the top 5 for sure

But he did not play enough to be the greatest.

And you should get over the Canadian bit as being the deciding point. Zetterburg and Datsyk are equal to Cindy.
my team is owned by a Yank - I follow Montreal

I hope so too...I tried to get tix yesterday...$225...insane.....all those true fans are shut out...but thank God for local TV...

That much money for tix is normal, actually that is not bad compared to Canadian cities.

I remember in 2006 a person was willing to dish out 1500 dollars for the SCF in Edmonton.

Mike Lange at his best...I think my favorite will always be, "Get in the fast lane grandma! The bingo game is ready to roll!"

...and frankly, there is just as much, if not more glorification over Ovechkin as there is Crosby. Every so-called expert picked the Caps for this series and if you remember jumped all over the Semin bandwagon when he said Crosby was nothing special...well, guess who is eating crow. Crosby played just as well as Ovechkin and didn't have to make dirty hits to do it. Is he vocal about getting hit on the ice? Sure...can it be a little much sometimes? Absolutely. However, it goes both ways...he is the consumate team player...unlike Ovechkin. So you can be haters all you want, but the kid has the talent and the poise and that's why he is where he is...and by the way, while I think Ovi can be a complete douche, I still think he is a hell of a player. He lives up to the hype no question...but disliking a player for their personality doesn't make them a bad or overrated player either.

I would still love to know what Malkin's dad said to Ovi behind closed doors about the Gonchar hit. While Kunitz should have been suspended in addition to the fine for his gabone crosscheck on Varlamov (sp) at least he didn't take him out of two games. Boobed up play by Ovechkin and again...not even a slap on the wrist.

Despite the fact that I can't stand the Crapitals and their fans are nothing but bandwagon jumpers (yeah, and before you say the Pens fans were before Crosby, our arena even during the sucky non-playoff years was at 96% capacity or higher) that Varlamov kid deserves a shit ton of credit. He really was the difference maker in all of their games despite their superstar and while he was a little shaken up last night, I hope the Craps realize they have a real gem there...he was really fun to watch. It will be great to see how he comes up in the league as he matures.

even though I have never been a fan of the Bruins, tough loss for hem, good season, they have a good coach and should be proud of what they have done

well done Canes, really pleased for Paul Maurice, quality guy, who got shafted in Toronto

really looking forward to the two finals

Sorry about that Pj.

I was rooting for the Bruins. I did not stay up to watch the overtime. I wish we had TSN available in our area. Why the heck they can not work with CBC to cover games is beyond me. I think they always did in the past. Looks like they have a contract with the dreaded VS.
