Mine does it with Vista all the time.. I think it's I hit a windows key and something else with my wrist.... that cause it.. but for the life of me I can't fix it by hitting the same keys again:willy_nilly:

I never had Vista. Before this laptop I had XP. I can fix mine by hitting the same keys again, though. It's weird that you and Guyzerr can't. :unsure:

I hate it but I am held captive.. I can't afford a new lapper or and upgrade:willy_nilly:

sometimes there is certain key combinations which trigger it like... clt-alt

try this...

Right click on the keyboard icon and left click Settings. Go to the advanced key settings tab. Click the “Change Key Sequence” button and select “not assigned”.

I don't have it there anymore. It was one of the things I got rid of. I though it was a waste of time. Kinda wanted the XP feel so to speak. How do I get it back on the task bar?

I can get to mine by hitting CTRL ALT DELETE at once.. on the lower left side... To exit I just hit Task Manager... I know it's a long way to do it but it works... and well that's for Vista... I know you have 7....

PS I seemed to have solved it on my laptop for now and certainly know how to make the Language Bar appear on your Task Bar..
