i say it is a true testiment to some one being completely comfortable with their sexuality when a man hits on them and they can politely tell them that they are not that way inclined then to save further embarrassment keeps it to him self and thinks no more of it, just as they would if a girl they were not interested in had hit on them. Such men would not feel demasculated by being asked out by another man.

^^^ This. I've been hit on my gay men before and I just politely tell them I'm not interested but it's flattering if anyone finds you attractive. It's men who get freaked out about it who are generally confused and repressed about their sexuality.
