My Hostas seem to be really small, probably because of all the giant ass weeds surrounding them. But thats done now. The front of the house actually looks TONS better too.

I weeded my sidewalk coming from the porch out to the city sidewalk so now you can actually see it instead of it being overgrowth.

Weeding barehanded is one hell of a good way to build up callouses too. The prickley weeds I used gloves for, but for the most part it was just moss and grass that needed to be pulled.

I need to go get some weed killer spray stuff too, the spray bottle I had worked well on some weeds but others just kept growing. What all do you gardeners recommend?

they make great border plants and get purple flowers on them mine are blooming now

depending on the type they have white or blue flowers also

Really... I cant stand Lowes OR Home Depot... I try to avoid those stores when all possible... but Lowes always seems cleaner then Home Depot.

Lowes has bad lumber (my dads experience), people who aren't as curteous, and just higher prices than the home depot that is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from them...

Same items are on average 10 bucks more expensive.

I comparison shopped between the two lowes and the two home depots on the north side of town here when I was lookin to get a frige (before I realized my mom was going to give me their spare one).

21 cu ft friges were 400-450 at Lowes, 350-400 at HD. For the exact same models. Made no sense, but then I realized that Lowes had free shipping also. (you paid 50 for it, but got it back when its shipped) So all around Lowes was the most expensive.
