The lady upstairs has her niece over. Turns out that means having the niece's little terrier over too. The one that WILL NOT shut up when it's alone. I've been listening to it yip and yap for two and a half HOURS now! I called the office about a half hour ago and he said he'd call the lady who lives there, but if he did, which I trust he did, she must not give a damn, or works really far away.

Oh, and I decided to stop smoking today. Of all days.

I'm thinking crate too. Riley has bad separation anxiety so I started locking her in her crate with a Kong. She eats some of it while we're gone, but I think she gets herself too worked up to keep going. :( She's like a rocket when we let her out though. It's really funny. So long as you aren't trying to walk.

It's been almost an hour since I called. No one from the office has gone up there, and I'm sure she hasn't either, because I haven't heard the door open. I'm getting really pissed off. I don't want to march in there all high and mighty either, because they don't know we have Riley and we're not paying the extra we're supposed to. I do feel a little bad about that, but she isn't doing ANY sort of damage to the apartment, so I kind of don't feel bad.

We didn't have to pay the deposit to move in since Matt is military, so I'm not sure if we have to pay the deposit for Riley. Honestly, I have no problem paying the deposit for her. Because I know I'll get it back. The extra rent I think is bullshit.

We have three cats living with us that the complex doesn't know about. I figure it's not really doing any harm if they're not doing any damage to the apartment. I just always worry about them coming up and finding out we have them.

That's exactly how I feel, and I hate it. I was taking her out one day, and the manager was RIGHT THERE. He recognizes me by my face, so that was NOT cool. Happened two or three days in a row, too. I've talked to some maintenance guys with her, but I really don't think they care. I'm not sure the manager would either, and I'm almost willing to bet my neighbor only has something to said to him because he smokes indoors and his dog is trained for puppy pads. And doesn't get crated, so people get "assaulted" (he's a chihuahua mix, so he's not doing much damage), and I think that's why they report it.

I don't think anyone has come to deal with doggie upstairs, but he's either chilled out or run out of energy. Only took FOUR hours.
