XBox 360 vs. Playstation 3 vs. Wii

Anyway, which console is the best? I have a Wii (lulz), but I'm hoping to get a PS3 this Christmas, which I'd say is the best of the three.

I have an Xbox 360 and a Wii, both of which I hardly, if ever, play.

I bought the Xbox because I wanted to play the newest games that all the cool kids had and I wasn't willing to pay a million dollars for a PS3 (before they brought down the price).

The Wii was bought by my mother after she played it at a relatives house and just thought it was the coolest thing since Kennedy. We have one game, Wii sports, which is neat and interactive.

All in all, I hardly play either console. I used to be a hardcore gamer in high school but got tired of it all. Eventually, I decided that the Xbox was just wasting space and stored it away.

Best for games? I'd say PS3 and 360 are pretty much at the same level.

If you're looking for longevity then don't go for the Wii, sure its fun but it doesn't have the same feel of the other two as terms proper gaming. I mean it isn't even a 7th Generation console, whereas the other two are (It's really stuck in the Generation gap)

360 is meh. Most games on it that interest me are also on PS3 and/or PC anyway.

I like the 360 although, if I could justify it in my mind, I'd also have a PS3.

I like the being able to play music on the 360 while gaming. I don't like it crashing and dying 1 month after the warranty is up.

I dropped my PS3 a few months ago, and nearly shat my pants. Still works fine though.
