SHELBYVILLE, Tenn.(AP) — A Tennessee man has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for killing his infant son because he bothered him during his video game. Nineteen-year-old Andrew Keith Johnston pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder in the October 2010 death of his 1-month-old son William. Assistant District Attorney Mike Randles said Johnston gave a written statement saying he became irritated when the infant was crying in his bassinet, interfering with Johnston's playing of video games, The Shelbyville Times Gazette reports. The boy suffered a brain hemorrhage and died of his injuries at a hospital a week later. An autopsy report said he died of "non-accidental trauma." The prosecutor says Johnston said he squeezed the boy hard and shook him.

Don't discount how much punishment 27 years is for a pretty white boy in a prison full of inmates from the Shelby County Tennessee area. The demographics are not in favor of his asshole remaining virginal within his first 24 hours of incarceration. He will be somebody's bitch from day one.

"WE" have no control over what happens to this young man when they cage him with the rest of the animals in state prison. That's what happens in prison. Hope he likes butt sex on the receiving end.

I'm sure they do have control, just that some people, namely the guards don't do anything, which is sickening. And what do you want to achieve by saying that "Hope that he enjoys butt sex"? That is not going to stop people murdering children, is it? Or is that your mindset?

WTF is your major malfunction? The discussion in this thread started with the OP's concern that the perpetrator only recieved 27 years for murdering his child. I stated that it is going to be 27 misreable years for this attractive, young caucasion male. He will be punished every day until he gets out of prison.

I'm stating the reality of the U.S. prison system. People still commit murder knowing they are going to get forcibly fucked up the ass, among other humiliations they will suffer in prison when they get there. Does that bother you? Tough shit if it does, because that is what happens in prision. It is violent beyond your ability to deal with and comprehend apparently.

What do I achieve by bringing this up? I was not trying to "achieve" anything other than participating in a conversation. But who knows? Some young person might read this thread and investigate what happens in prison and decide to avoid it. Some good could come from it.

What do you hope to achieve by whining about it and attempting to supress a discussion about the cruel realities of life?

Then if you didn't want to achieve anything, then why did you say that "Hope he enjoys butt sex"? In actual fact it happens all over the world, just that it doesn't get reported most of the time
