WTF is with blogsites?

How come everybody on the planet blogs? It's like a diary for the whole world to see. A crapload of bloggers can't spell to save their lives and the grammar isn't better than the average 2nd-grader. So, maybe the content will save their asses. Typically, no. There's blogs on everything from body waxing to 'why won't my boyfriend call me?' Again, stuff that could remain in a diary--one that the whole world doesn't need to see. That's my rant on blogs. I'm probably going to go type one now. :D

I personally don't have a blog.... yet....

.... but I imagine the freedom of writing things that you otherwise just can't say or speak of to anyone in person.

My blog would be totally anonymous of course. They can be anonymous, yes?

The biggest problem with a blog is maintaining one.

I fell victim to that. I just couldn't think of enough interesting things to talk about. Reviewing wrestling? I do that elsewhere. Posting about things in general, I can do that on here and THE BOARD~. Talking about my everyday life? I'd rather tell that to someone real, or go on Facebook. Yeah so subject matter became a problem.

I find most blogs boring and why would I want to read stranger's blogs? I know some do but I am different people TO different people. Some I am sweet to, some I am risque to, some I am supportive, some I am funny. I'm a Gemini for God Sakes!!

I keep my blog on private, I just can't be bothered writing in a plain old diary like I used to, those days are gone. I prefer to hand-write poetry instead (whenever I feel inspired enough). Then I usually publish them on my poetry blog on LiveJournal as a way of keeping them all together.
I used to keep my blog on public, occasionally getting random people's comments. It never turned me off, but I just switched it to private now because some of the things I started saying were just bad...

I think blogs are a good way of seeing how much you change over time. I have blog entries from 2007, through to now. It's really funny reading back on my old self and seeing how noobie I was.

That is probably something I wouldn't want on the interwebs. It's bad enough to have old lovers keep score and wait for my fail. I don't need the two or three internet strangers/stalkers that might actually read it to watch my rise and fall. :D

last time i blogged was back in the MySpace days where it had its on blog thingie. didnt post much. never had anything interesting enough to 'talk' about.

im busy enough with this board and the other board im a member of, AND dont forget FB. i dont have enough time to maintain a blog!:p
