They are not my fave band but I wouldn't say they have really bad songs. Some are listenable.

They've made TWO songs that I like.

lol I was so young back then I don't even remember their album names, or most of their songs, the only ones I can remember off the top of my head are Basketcase and Good Riddance

I think that was the first entire song I learnt to play on guitar.... I didn't even like it or Green Day that much, if at all. But they were so big and their stuff so easy everybody learnt it.
