sorry i didnt get back on this am. I was exhausted...everythings ok he had to go into work (well the theater here in branford to help out) he thought i was asleep for the night so he didnt bother waking me...and his phone was left in the car...so i was up till 2am waiting and worrying...but alls ok.

Yeah, kat said he had to go to work, so I wld assume that meant he'd been called in. He thought she was aslp for the night, so didn't bother to wake her, which was thoughtful, I'd say. he is making an effort - he can't be blamed for that.
