Well every human body has musles. Even Fatty Arbuckle had those.

However, I'll just keep doing what I do and keep laughing at all those muscular, six packers finishing their 10k's in an hour and a half and wondering why they can't lug those frames they built for the Friday night out at the singles bar round a park ;)

Obviously a 230 pound dude with 13% bodyfat cant run as fast as a 180 pound guy with around 9% bodyfat. But did you know you that you can also train for endurance instead of just size?
I alternate between the two, couple of months ago I was on the track team, Regardless of me going to the gym every day, Im still insanely fast.

I'm not sure about your pounds but i'm 5 8 and 12 stone . . whatever that is lol.

I try go gym at least 3 times a week on top of 2 rugby training sessions and 1 game a week usually. I havn't been the last week, uni got busy and i feel like shite which doesn't help! lol

Lol you have to force your self man, get a workout partner you will get motivated. I went to the gym on the worst days i had as a way to blow of steam.

When bulkier and going to the gym, I was fast. The 100m to 200m sprints are choc full of a lot of big guys. I just can't carry weight when I'm running long. And I'd be surprised if a 230 pound could run at all (relatively speaking) !!

I started weight lifting around september last year. I got real pissed so i just walked into the weight room to find my friend and found it was an amazing way to blow off steam and just to have fun.
I started off weighing about 115 but now i weigh 140 and can lift 115 pounds on a bench press (35 pounds on each side and a 45 pound bar)
I`m 13 and 5`10, is that good for my age?

Yea that's pretty good considering your 115 and 13, keep training hard and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish
