i guess i cant complain, i made my weekly goal in sales already and today is the last day of our work week. I told my asst manager my back was bothering me, and she asked why and I told her I was just pretty sore from working out..anyways, she goes and talks to the manager and then they say I should go home. I almost laughed, but I waas like...ok but just for the record, I didn't ASK you if I could leave. You told me to leave. So I don't wanna hear anything about that I complain to go home a lot or anything (I never have before, and I've never missed a day yet). They said something about workers comp laws and if something happened to me here they could be in trouble. Whatever. I get a half day off! woot! I dunno I think they are crazy, there is a difference between being sore and being sick, but whatever! And yes I am still going to the gym tonight. lol.

When I worked at Ingram, (along with two other jobs at the time) I sneezed while I was bending over putting some books on a cart and pulled the upper muscle in my back beside the shoulder blade. Instead of just releasing me, I had to file an 'injury' report, tell the HR lady what I was going to do, and then they had to take a picture of what I was doing when my muscle was pulled.

Instead of just letting me sign something saying I wasn't going to sue them for something I did to myself so I could go to the doctor and get some muscle relaxers... at first I thought I blew out something in my lung. it fuckin hurt like hell.

But yeah, they were just covering their asses against any lawsuits from you.
