Woot woot! I finally got orders!

I'm going to the USS Anzio (CG 68) in Norfolk, Va.! I like being on shore duty and all, but it is time for me to go back to the States... even if that means four more years on another ship (it'll be my fourth one). The best part about it is that I will be so much closer to my kids and will get to see them more often. I have only been able to see them twice in the year and a half that I have been here. I'll even get to keep them during the summer months if I'm not out to sea. :rock

They used to do crap like that back in the day. Now though it doesn't happen as often. You still get some pranksters with their jokes for the booters (kinda like our noobs). But I'm an E6 with 11 years in and this will be my fourth ship, so I've heard them all and won't fall for any of them. But they're welcome to try!
