My parents were the same exact way with me. I was 20 yrs old, in college and they still always asked where I was going, who was going to be there, what time I was going to be home and sometimes even asked for a phone number to where I was going to be. It drove me freakin insane. But now that I have 2 little girls, I can see exactly where they were coming from.

Once I turned 18... my parents never asked where I went. I'd leave late at night to go get food, to the store, etc.

They didn't care. As long as I didn't wreck my car or get arrested.

Same here, which is probably why I'm having such a hard time understanding this shitty situation.
