I remember reading an article over here comparing prices of things with inflation. I think it worked out the only things your grandad has it better with were cars, houses and beer, so erm... yes they had it a lot beter seeing those are the only things which really matter!

hmmm. Maybe I'm weird...but I do a lot of those things on that list when I am at home and not working/in school.

I do:

• have dinner ready
• I'm definitely "gay" and interesting for him when he gets home lol
• question his judgement
• am happy to see him
• complain when he goes out without me or comes home late.
• greet with warm smile (normally)
• make sure home is a place of peace and tranquility. (I guess???lol)
• greet him with complaints and problems (this does happen at times!)
• i complain when he stays out all night

• prepare myself. How I look is how I look.
• Clear away clutter.
• run dustcloth over table
• prepare any fires. no way. not here!
• prepare children (N/A)
• listen to him
• i dont make him a drink to make him comfortable
• speak in a low soothing voice
