Not so concerned about the look but the size. You're right, they're not pretty creatures anyway! :p
I've heard a couple mean comments from exes about women they've been with who have had children and I think I got afraid from that.

Ignore them, they are virgins or so crap in bed they dont get a close up of the punani, let alone know what to do with it.

Those men were idiots. As my wife says "those things were made to take a beating" They go back to normal. The only issue is if there is tearing and/or an episiotomy.. there can be a little scarring there obviously, but nothing scary.

Lots of hotdogs down a hallway references, sad. No respect at all.

eh, both my niece and nephew were over 10 lbs and were both born all natural. its what a womans body is MADE to do.

and the vagina is a muscle (that you cannot see because its internal. its the VULVA thats visible between the legs ;) ) it'll contract back to its size because, again, its designed to

Lol I have no idea what my boyfriend thinks about all of that, because he's prone to being nice to me.

He's obviously not the asshole that the others were. :)

And KLD nailed it. She sounds just like my wife when she talks like that lol

Made the thread in reaction to the increased pain I'd assume is associated with a baby of that size.

not every woman experiences labor and delivery the same. its more painful to some than others. its easier to some than others.

but im a hardcore advocate for all natural L&D unless medically necessary, so im biased ;)

I didn't know I was in labour because I thought the contractions I was having weren't painful enough. I thought they were Baxton Hicks and ignored them and got on with my day/night. It was only towards the end that the pain got really bad (after about 12-15 hours of contractions) and I went to hospital. About 30-45 minutes later I'd given birth (to baby and afterbirth) and was being stitched up. During birth it hurt a lot (especially the crowning) but I found the stitching afterwards hurt more.

But that was just me. I'm not going to argue with any woman who feels different.

This was also her second baby wasn't it (I read the article last night so I can't remember) which might play a part in it?
