I'd rather give birth naturally to a baby that size than have a C-Section. But then I have some fear of C-Sections :s

Just so you guys know, googling the words 'before and after childbirth vagina' is a big waste of time. All I got was lots of pictures of babies, some medical illustrations about where the incision is made, and bizarrely, pictures of labia 'rejuvenations'.


When I get pregnant, I'm taking before and after pictures. Possibly just so I can torment myself with them later on.

my daughter was 10 pounds and I had her natural and sorry HK everything went back to normal on me, never had any complaints if youre thinking things would be all stretched out, there are exercises to help prevent that. :) If a certian someone wants to confirm this statemant feel free, if not thats fine too :p

I've always heard they're never quite the same again, but that doesn't have to mean they're ruined. I'm sure it's different case by case and lots of women don't notice a change, but I'd be having a baby later in life (over 30 for sure) and probably couldn't snap back like I might now.

I accidentally stumbled upon a "body after baby" website and sobbed for a good twenty minutes in terror, so I'm not the best with opinions on this lol.

There are changes but after giving birth but tbh vaginas look a bit horrible before hand anyway. I doubt any one wants a close up picture of a vagina hung from the wall for people to admire. But it won't remain a loose mess and it's not like the lips are going to be stretched down to your knees. Right after giving birth, the vagina is swollen and loose but it does go back to being tight again. Especially if the person does Kegel exercises like they are advised to.

Not so concerned about the look but the size. You're right, they're not pretty creatures anyway! :p
I've heard a couple mean comments from exes about women they've been with who have had children and I think I got afraid from that.
