i was on a modem but a few weeks ago i went wireless.......i hate it big time.....i keep losing connection......bad signals....the works......i'm in 2 minds to get reconnected to the modem

99% of the time I love wireless. I can take my laptop just about anywhere, which is handy with the baby. We rarely have problems with it and normally resetting it will fix it.
It may be the wireless card in your computer.
or a bad signal......either way its got to change
you haqve to be mindful of where your router is as to where youre at... some kind of reception gets shifty over more than 2-3 walls in a large house.
just a wooden door separates the signal......about 15 feet.......most of the time the doors open too
Then it's not the signal. 99% of the time its the wireless card in your computer that will fail before a router or a modem.

I love my wireless internet. Yesterday I noticed that it lost connection a few times, but it was always when I left it running at the house while I was gone for an hour or two.
we have a modem. and this comp i am on is hooked up wireless haven't had any problems.
