Just out of curiosity, not to be rude or anything but...
Are you in trouble or something? If your father's computer expert you could have just asked him
but you spent all this time trying to find an answer here.

no he's busy and i don't want to bother him. and he might not know anyways.

ok i'm not sure if you did this yet. go to the start menu, type "sidebar" in the search at the bottom and wait for "windows sidebar" and "sidebar properties." click the properties one and make sure "start with windows" is checked.

I think I did that before and it didn't work..I'll have to do that Command Prompt tomorrow. It worked before, so that's a good sign
