Which one would you consider the most stable for a large quantity of files..62,215 at the moment.
I had used the western digital software at one time but started getting a little nervous when it would appear to hang up...never lost any thing though

I've never had an issue with Syncback ( Free or NoInstal versions ), or Replicator
If I had to choose one...it would be Syncback because it has more options but still easy to setup.
Replicator is more along the lines of 'dead simple'.
Both backup a copy of the file structure.
I prefer that to those that save to a proprietary file.

Will have to check it out...will set it up in xp in virtual box..play with it until I feel comfortable with it then set it up on my 7 install.
Then simply revert my snapshot in virtual box ...and be ready for the next software testing.

You're welcome.

I've tried numerous backup schemes over time and Syncback seems the most useful for me with Replicator a decent second place.

Combined with Paperport, it's easy to view/search out old files and documents only kept in old backups. Trouble is, the newest versions of Paperport aren't getting good reviews by users.
V 14 is the current version and I'm still using V 8....but with great success. Shame how decent software sometimes suffers from upgrading.

New version of sync back out now ....I like it...its a little different but I was able to adjust easily as I didn't have alot of time invested in the older version.
I like it better ...if you have virtual box go take it for a spin....as
It will over write your old version even if you are using the no install of the older version.
The profile was kept so it wasnt any big deal though
