You are just using a beta... As far as I know they won't be giving you a free copy when the beta test is done...

No time is a good time to use a beta OS as your main machine... Don't do it... You will kick yourself for it if you do...

I totally agree. The beta version is extremely stable and all my software works except Adobe reader.

Having said that I did a clean install of Win 7 Beta a few weeks ago on my main machine anyway. lol Now RC has come out and I'm too lazy to install it.

i tired 7 on my spare harddrive and i hated it. it ran for less than 24 hours and i formatted the disk and installed ubuntu again. and i can't stand people that go to demonoid to "steal" a copy of 7 when you can sign up and get a copy free...!

Ubuntu angers me only cause I suck with it... Other than that I drool over it's GUI for some reason

everything seems to work for me except i can't get the printer to properly install, and i'm not the greatest at command line interface and apget and sudo and all that... point and click...

Haha, well I'm experienced enough and have plenty of spare machines. However because it was still in beta when I installed it, I waited till my classes were over for the semester.
