With that sort of starting price, I don't imagine it coming down anytime soon. It's a "next gen" console. The first system we'll see dropping prices is the Xbox 360, it's already over a year old.

i asked what kind of price cuts will we see, not how soon we will see.

and the xbox360 a year old already, and given the type of product that it is, it hardly qualifies as next gen.

I'd go so far as to say that the Xbox 360 is next gen considering its system specifications. If anything it blows the Wii away which is slightly more powerful than the original Xbox.
