I don't know... how many American children actually starve to death in America everyday?
American children go to schools, and get fed there. We have food programs and food banks and shelters as last resort measures.
They may be poor as fuck in some places, but do not go for weeks at a time without food. I challenge anyone to provide proof of that in the US.

better yet, instead of feeding starving children, why dont we give out condoms so those in third world countries will have less children putting less stress on a food supply that is marginal at best to begin with. if you cant take care of your children then please dont have children. yes its really that simple folks.
but yes, why do we not see child fund commercials for american children who go to bed hungry? we have our hungry, our homeless our poor. why ignore them? is being poor in america like being rich in a third world shithole so they dont think your hunger and homelessness is as bad as someone elses that doesnt live in america?

There used to be an infomercial years ago to help the hillbilly children -- of course they called them something else but they lived in the mountains.
Oprah started one of her free schools for poor girls in the US, but they dared show less appreciation than Oprah required, so she closed it (that'll teach those ungrateful bitches). The one she opened in Africa had some kind of scandal as well, but I don't remember what it was about.

I don't think there should be a difference destitute is destitute just on various levels.
