Why Is Gen Z So Bad at Phone Calls?

I think Gen Z struggles with phone calls because they grew up texting and using instant messaging apps, which allow more time to think and respond. Phone calls feel more intrusive, spontaneous, and pressure-filled, making many uncomfortable and less practiced at them.

I actually do not know why we the Gen Z's are so bad at phone calls. To think it was the main means of communication before the arrival of social media and all the others. I rather text or face time than make a phone call.

I think they are pretty good with their peers, what makes them difficult is communicating with people from other generations.

Gen Z people have always preferred asynchronous modes of communication. They don't have to respond in real time with that. They like the comfort of thinking communications through before responding, unlike calls which expects them to respond in real time.

Good question and the truth is I don't know, I prefer to write than make a phone call, I honestly don't know, but I find it curious how Generation Z agree on this lol

The thing about Gen Z and phone calls is that with calls, they are expected to leave what they were doing and give it attention. And their lives are already very busy.With texting on WhatsApp ad other Instant Messaging apps, they can communicate on their own terms when they are free.
