j/k. :D

Technically, that really isn't the "emo" style, that's just the 2000-ish cliche that's been wrapped up in that dress style.

If anyone remembers HCCrazyhorse from MF, he was into the emo thing back in the day with the real interpretation of EMO.

I don't know why kids feel they need to do that to get attention honestly... just warps my mind how kids with parents doing well and having everything they need turn into little whiners.

Thats the way it's always been. Jocks follow Jocks, preps follow preps, nerds follow nerds.

They're all trends, but they stay around for a long time.

Exactly. And the music they happen to listen got branded emo. If you compare current emo music to the early stuff, they don't have much in common but the name.

Yeah they're fucking dumb. Yeah you have problems, big fucking deal. How about people in Africa, you think they're feeling sorry for themselves and trying to get attention. No they deal with it, and try to work out their problems.

I think putting people into types of groups is stupid. Especially when you say it's the kind of music that they listen to. I listen to 'emo' music. That doesn't make me 'emo'. I listen to some 'goth'. That doesn't make me gothic. I listen to really hard rock to the point where they're screaming. That doesn't make me a mental case rocker.

honestly peeps...

It's not necessarily the music that they're associating them to, it's the clothing and the hair style they have. The music is just the kicker for the dumbshits on um... "other" forums (mainly MF) to make fun and laugh at.

yeah, but you can't really go with that either. I wear a lot of stuff that could be considered emo. I also where a lot of black, which could be considered gothic (esp. with my black hair). There's no way that you can actually judge someone on how they dress or what kind of hair cut they have. That's stupid.

We're not... these kids sit around feeling sorry for themselves.

Remember when that kid shot his 'girlfriend' and her father in California a few months ago? He was depressed and got a hold of his dads shotgun. He dressed in all black, whined in his goodbye letter and had that notorious haircut.
