Online abuse of celebrities is often dismissed as criticism or humor. The line between commentary and harassment becomes blurred at scale. Repetition and virality can turn jokes into harm. Where should free speech limits exist online? Does audience size change ethical responsibility?

The concept of free speech is highly abused term. A lot of people don't know free speech does not mean you can talk anything that might potentially hard other people. When people pass harsh remarks on celebrities that try to justify this by saying since they choose to be public figure, that also need to stand these remarks.

Digital attacks on celebrities are often framed as free speech because critics claim a right to express opinions, satire, or criticism. Social norms and platform policies sometimes blur the line between commentary and harassment, allowing abuse to persist under the guise of expression.
