Evolution is a fact and it makes me laugh when people try to dispute that. But why is it in conflict with a god? Why would it downplay god if he was the one who created evolution? As far as I'm concerned, if there is a god and he created evolution, it would make him an even smarter fucker that if he just created everything to stay the same.

But the bible says the world was created in 6 days... the work was so exhausting that god had to rest on the seventh day... Yes, it says he had to rest, just take a moment and think about that

Same thing happened when Galileo said the earth revolves around the sun. It's not that Galileo proved God doesn't exist. It's just the Copernican model contradicted the church approved Aristotelian model. It took a while for the church to catch up with science.

ughh fucking frustrated

Christians' dispute whether mankind was evolved or divinely created...not whether the scientific fact of evolution exists...

In the front of the bible? WTF are you talking about? Is there little print somewhere that warns that these are nothing more than myths and fables?

Hmmm I just donnot see how you're confused...if you look in the first few pages of the Bible it explains there are metaphorical and literal interpretations as well as a few others...not really sure how else to help you understand. 1+1 is just about as simple as I can make things.

So the disclaimers put into the preface of the bible by man (which is not gods divine word) should trump what's in the bible which is the divine word of god?

The bible starts with the first verse of Genesis and ends with the last verse of Revelations. There is nothing else to the bible, there was never a preface or index

you're just argumentative by nature and you know it's true.

ANYWAY, for the sake of useless arguing...the disclaimer is written by man but i donnot see why that makes it useless crap. it is a FACT that people interpret the Bible in different ways...who the hell knows if the Bible's intentions, god who/what the fuck ever intended it to be interpreted literally or metaphorically. it's purpose is there to solely help idiots think outside of a box.

hopefully you can take this as being completely rational or idk what else to say besides the big Fuck.

Here is what it actually says:

" And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made."

It says God ended his work on the 7th day and rested from all his work. It doesn't say why he rested.
