Why do people think it's so easy to move on?

Some people move on quickly after a breakup they are more resilient and/or have less attachment to the relationship,. while others may take longer because they need more time to grieve.

It is easy to say move on but actually really difficult to do it. Those who suggest people to move on are mostly the people who have never been in such situation and they tend to believe that it is really easy.

It’s not easy to move on, and I think people often underestimate the emotional complexity involved. Moving on requires processing pain, letting go of attachments, and rebuilding oneself. Society sometimes portrays it as a quick fix, but in reality, healing takes time and effort.

I am instead worried about why people find it very difficult to move on. When things don't work out despite best efforts, it is simple logic to move on. We don't understand the value of time. That's why we keep spending it to sulk on things that would never work.
