Not all positive news feels exciting right away. Sometimes it takes time to fully sink in. What do you think causes that delayed reaction? Have you ever needed time before feeling happy about something good?

People sometimes need time to appreciate good news because the brain doesn’t always switch instantly from stress or expectation to positive emotion.
If someone has been anxious or focused on uncertainty, it can take a moment for the mind to “register” safety and success. Emotional adjustment often lags behind the actual event.
