Even when presented with new information, people often stick to what they already believe. What do you think drives that resistance? Is it comfort, identity, or something else? How open are you to changing long-held views?

People often hold onto beliefs because they’re tied to identity, emotion, and past experience, not just logic.

Changing a belief can feel like losing part of how you see yourself, so the mind resists it. Confirmation bias also plays a role, people notice evidence that supports what they already believe and ignore what challenges it.

One simple reason is they don't see evidence as a proof, they see "evidence" to be fake. One such example is "moon landing was fake." After all these years, there are people who continue to believe moon landing was faked. They don't see evidence as proof
