Did ya have a bad day?

Mmmmm Hmmmmm.... Didn't get fired, didn't quit, but I can't and won't go back. I have to find something to hold me over until something better comes about.

I work at Tarje.

Target for those who are french impaired.

I sometimes hate my job. I would quit, but I love the people I work with and honestly can't leave them. They're practically family.

I like my job but
as in my last job
the boss pays some jerkoff an enormous amount of money to do something
and when he falls short at the last critical moment
they want me to fix all of it in two days and then start hounding me about it
he had two years and is subcontracted to work in his off time from his real job to work at home
when im done I will be asking for a raise or bye bye

maybe he doesn't know you're a guy, Donny...you know women are underpaid. ;):24:...ok i'm done...i beat this horse dead a few times now. hahahaha!

Jobs as a whole suck, i think, on te account they take away from the time you'd like to be doing something else. I HATE being a landlord. I used to enjoy it for the fat you pretty much make your own hours, however, you still have to deal with more idiots than good ones.

This thread is old. I will just say this. If you don't like your job. Then change it. Not the hardest thing in the world to do. Just change it into something you enjoy.

isn't that easier said than done for many reasons....
location
availability
age (some people are just getting too old to be marketable)
skill set (some people are just getting too old to be schooled)
god I am old
Pay
benifits (some people are just getting too old to not have a good benifit plan)
Pension (some p... ok you get the drift.)

If you have all that on your list why look for another job. It is simple. Don't complain about it and just find a new job.

If I don't like something I change it.

An interesting idealist statement. I suppose anyone could change anything if only by adjusting one's attitude to where the situation does not invoke insanity.

Riddle me this redliner - If one does not like not being a billionaire - how can one go about changing that?

Could there be limits to this "change it" philosophy? Will it work in every situation every time?

I don't hate my job, just work in general. If I was doing something I loved I'd end up despising it.

When did I say I would have 100 % success ? How about using your head and making realistic goals ? There is a big difference between finding a job that pays close to the same as the job you have know. Aposed (sp) to being a billionaire. I give you an inch and you want a foot. If you really want to be a billionaire the go for it. Try and invent something. Try as hard as you can to become business savy. It is not easy. I would maybe take a life time to do. Just you took my statment way out of context. It is not hard to change your job from 50g a year to 60g a year. Just shop around.
