looks like this just another election where it is going to be more voting against somebody rather than for somebody

liberals will hate this but Regan probably was the last one people voted for. maybe not against Carter but his 2nd term was the case. IMO

There have been no great leaders presented by either party for a long long long time

Yes, it is sad - almost as sad as small business owners, and folks who work for wages and salaries voting against their own interests. That's why the middle class is an endangered species.

So would you be against a progressive tax rate with zero loop holes?

Or do you only advocate for a flat tax, meaning one flat percentage no matter what you make?
I don't think a progressive tax would be necessary if we had zero loop holes. Of course, if the federal gov't were brought back within its constitutional bounds there would be no need for Washington to tax individual citizens at all ...... but since that ain't happenin' ........ I'd rather see the federal budget match revenue than try to increase revenue to match federal spending.
