Some moments feel bigger than they are because the brain gives more weight to emotionally charged or unexpected experiences.
Strong emotions like fear, excitement, or embarrassment can distort perception, making a short event feel longer or more important than it objectively is. We also tend to replay those moments in our mind, which reinforces their impact.
