got it shipped over form hong kong XD ebay FTW only cost £60
I don't know what a pound is worth in Canadian dollars but I paid about $110.00 for mine 3 or 4 years ago. That lens is tack sharp and a heck of a bargain despite being cheaply built. Anyone that has a Canon should have on in their bag.

i have a nikon.. i think for some reason that lens was more expensive for the nikon than canon.. the canon was only £40.. that would be about.. $65-70 i think

Now you are going to confuse her.There is no need to increase the ISO if she shoots in the daylight. Why blow a good shot if you don't have to. KISS principal comes to mind unless one is very familiar with the camera which we know she isn't.

BUT on my little shitty Kodak Easy Share camera you can't blow anything out no matter how high you put the ISO

I was just sharing what I would do if I was using my Kodak Easy Share.
