For some, conversations require extra effort due to anxiety, low energy, or cognitive strain. Even positive interactions can feel exhausting at times.
What makes socializing easier or harder for you? How do you balance connection with the need for rest?

Social interactions can feel draining when they require more emotional effort than support.

If you’re overthinking, masking how you feel, or managing how others perceive you, it uses a lot of mental energy. It can also feel tiring when the interaction lacks safety, depth, or mutual understanding.
