Women face higher levels of cyberstalking, sexual threats, and image-based abuse. Power dynamics and gender bias often shape who gets attacked and how. The impact goes beyond the screen into careers and safety. Why does gender amplify digital violence? How can online spaces be redesigned to reduce this?

I'm a man but I was raised to treat people with respect regardless of gender. Some men are raised to view women as lesser beings, which is why things like this happen to women. It's disgusting and us men should be doing better. Young men shouldn't also be listening to influencers like Andrew Tate since he floods their minds with toxic masculinity nonsense.

Harassment against women is actually deeply rooted in culture, it does not matter where you belong or what culture you follow all cultures have been too harsh against women and online harassment against women reflect the same thing.

Women are targeted more online due to gender biases, stereotypes, and societal power imbalances. Visibility in public spaces, especially on social or gaming platforms, often attracts harassment, threats, and abuse aimed at controlling, silencing, or intimidating them disproportionately.
