Last night, when Liam came home from work, I mentioned to him that I was Hostel while Emmett was down for a nap. And I told him that I can't understand why sooooo many people thought it to be so gory and gross and so on. I thought it wasn't enough gore. And since he knows I read really gritty true crime books as well, he commented: "Man, you need to start going out and killing people yourself to see more blood and gore. GROSS!"

Why do I so getting into this stuff????

I chalk it up to plain ol' natural curiosity. *shrugs*
 
Im always looking for the horror movie that really gets to me.
Ive found that all the blood and guts is cool to look at but there is
no scare
its the weird quiet unknowns of supernatural for me
everyone is different
someone who kills their victims and sits them up in his house and talks them
and puts mirrors inplace of their eyes
is much more horrifing to me
than someone that just kills for fun as a thrill

The only horror movies I've seen that have decent acting, are the Rob Zombie ones. All others annoy the crap out of me with the terrible acting.
 
I like scary movies too. The attraction is trying to figure out how they make it look so real.

In my next life I want to be a Hollywood make up artist. That would be kind of fun coming up with some of that stuff.
