Who's life would you take?

You find yourself in a hostage situation with an eldery person and an infant.

The hostage takers have a gun to your head and have thrust a gun into your hand.

They have demanded that you shoot either the infant or the elderly person to save your own life.

If you shoot one of them you and the other will live.

If you don't shoot one of them you will all die.



What do you do and why?

But it is very true. I feel that all children should be allowed the opportunity to live life and experience all the good and bad that life has to offer. Or it could be that I am a daddy myself and could never bear the thought of hurting a child.

i agree. do not shoot the infant! as you lot have said the child has its whole life ahead of it. hopefully. it has the potential to benifit society more than the elderly person since they would probably not be around for much longer, depending on how elderly the person is. not to sound insensitive or anything.

As long as I don't have to keep the kid, I guess I'd shoot the old guy too. But if I am expected to keep the kid afterwards then that kids gunna die.
