Wish we got more cold with lots of snow though, not just this miserable dull and rainy cold we're getting right now. Never mind, we did get a bit of snow on the ground last month, first time I've ever known it to snow here in October!

Yeah but you're in Scotland, I keep meaning to have a nice winter holiday tucked up in a little cottage in the Cairngorms, one day!:nod:

Edinburgh is only an hour and a half away? Seemed to take longer from Glasgow, maybe it's because we took the scenic route. Personally I dont think you can beat fresh fish and chips from the Essex coast but I'd still love to try a battered Mars Bar next time I'm in Scotland!

yea an hour and a half - 2 hours.. tho my dad drives like a looney and i technically live half way between glasgow and edinburgh... but i spend most my time in edinburgh
