...And of course we have been chatting about police brutality over and over.
Is fear a natural thing for police dealing with urban communities ?

Fear isn't learned or taught in the police academies.
Not sure about your local municipalities but...
I was told by a cadet about using black male figurines as a practice.
-target practices.
-dog attacks.
-swats.
-video(s).

We must protect our citizens from riff-raff...gotta watch the community.

Feels good knowing our tax dollars at work...right ?

No its statistics. Look up the crime rates in any big metro and they will all point to specific neighborhoods. Is it right? Hell no. I hate the police and the way they stereotype and abuse their so called powers, but statistics don't lie, as much as some of you would like to believe otherwise. Racism only exists because it comes from both sides. Maybe some day we can all hope our world will be different but the reality is that it won't.

Finally someone has made a good point.
Most folks don't(care) know how the police are trained.
I believe a few know but not bother to challenge it because it doesn't involve a certain group.
(note I didn't say "us")

I guess the adage is "as long as they are doing their jobs"...with attitude.

Perhaps a old black women will be sent to the ground and cuff as the police searches for drugs.
