Got to happen by May. So who do you want to win? Non UK people can vote on this too. And why?

I'll be voting Conservative. Might sound strange as a man living on benefits to look after his sick wife but I think our possible MP cares more about our town and the underpriveleged than out current Labour MP who still thinks the Iraq war was a good idea and voted against an inquiry into it. He also took the piss on expenses.

It would be funny if Labour won again. But in all honesty, Mr. Brown, dear unelected leader needs to go.

As I don't know squat about y'alls politics, whichever party is the least sold out is who I wish for you.

I'd have to educate myself about who is the most down to earth, responsible, representative of the most citizens party. Who would that be?

The fact that you have choices beyond "Republican" and "Democrat" tells me that you're more likely to find a good leader that we in the US will anytime soon.

I just find it interesting that the lines between your two largest parties have been completely blurred as far as what they stand for...Labour went Tory-esque and vice versa. I think Pete's example of his MP is a good example of that. I don't know enough about the other parties to vote in your poll, but of course the US will be watching and interested. Well, our government will be I can't say the masses will be...hell, they don't even show up for our elections. :p

Not really, its a 2 party choice. A vote for anyone else is a wasted vote. Despite what anyone says.

I wouldn't say vice versa lol

Probably none of them, its kind of like asking you which leg you want chopped off.

Not really, I'd have Obama every time over these douches

I don't know but I wish we had 10 viable parties.... :(

Only 2 viable parties, Labour and Conservative, in all honestty

Good Gosh no wonder the UK is so fuked up! you have 10 choices or parties...................who ever is in favor of gun ownership....................!

None of them, we haven't yet lowered ourself to the same standard of stupidity as the USA....yet! :D;)

How much impact does the candidate have, vs the party he/she represents?

It makes an impact to those of us who actually understand politics. Most people, unfortunately, will go by what they read in the Sun. :(:thumbdown

I have never liked the Conservatives since Maggie Thatcher, and that was even in my school days, never liked the Labour party, because I thought it was way to liberal in its thinking..............until now, because I am swinging towards Tory.......I voted for the Lib-Dem in all its various formats
