Is there a difference in prospective in sports dealing with race issues ?
Should folks lean not to put both feet in their mouths ?

For a start it is perspective. Barkley said it best. It is no big deal and is a sad commentary on how entrenched folks are in their views. Bad choice of words? For sure, but not worth getting riled up over. Half the members of congress say worse things and no big deal is made about it.
 
I thought it was funny.
