People around here don't scoop so much and I'm pretty sure I've never seen it here, maybe once if I have. It could be that they've revamped the dog food enough that whatever was causing that isn't there anymore?

Basically - perhaps folks don't feed their folks bones and so on as much but just more the convenience kibble as one guy puts it.

Thats what i was going to say - these days people have to clean up after their dogs.

When my neighbor fed bones to my dog.... behind my back mind you.... I noticed the white poop. That's how we figured it out and told him to throw his bones in the trash and not over the fence to my dog.

I'm so glad that we moved from the city.

I still see white dog poo quite frequently, but not the kind that is referred to in this thread. One of my dogs has a baby wipe and toilet paper fetish. If I don't get all of the poo picked up before I cut grass...geesh what a mess

it is actually because they used to bulk dog and cat food up with chalk dust...it was dirt cheap

I see it sometimes in my side yard. I i's usually after a long rain, and I haven't mowed or picked up crap yet.
