I know Bing is trying hard to catch up but it is still miles and miles behind google's search algorithms. Just the other day, Microsoft was embarrassed when it was found that they themselves were using google search algorithms in the bing search engine. Yahoo and bing are okay but as long as google maintains its distance from them, there really is no reason to use yahoo or bing if you're only concerned about the accuracy of search results.

I use Google for everything because of the layout, mainly. However, the layout has changed recently, which I find highly annoying. I wish they would stop constantly updating unnecessary things. Same goes with Facebook, really.

Google. It's clean, fast and gives results that I want. I've tried using other search engines, but either they're formatted really weirdly or give really badly optimized results. I think I've grown used to Google, and I don't think I'll ever leave it. A lot of users can agree than Google provides the best results, but many dislike it due to PRISM.

Google is my choice of search engine, though on occasion I use other search engines such as Yahoo or Bing. But you can say that Google has already been associated with finding anything on the internet, so when you "Google" it, it means you search it through the web.

I don't think I will be using that Duckduckgo. As an experiment I went to it and typed in Sewell cable. I looked at their website. I came back here and looked at the introductions page. And guess what? Yep there was an advertisement for Sewell cables. Okay I thought maybe the Sewell cable popped up because I had gone there before with another search engine so I thought I would edit this post to say that. But first I thought I would try something. I have Never gone to Adidas shoes but I looked them up with the Duckduckgo search engine and came back here and there is an ad. for Springblade Adidas shoes.

I use almost only Duck Duck Go. I know for sure I won't be spied on. I use google only on my phone when I need quick check and at work.
It's a really good quality search engine and doesn't sell you to corporations, also still looks good when you use java script blocker.

Good point! Google criticized Microsoft heavily due to privacy concerns and espionage and they are now the kings doing it.

I use Google because there is no other option at all, most of the things I need to find come through Google, which keeps being filled with many garbage and irrelevant content that is well-ranked due to SEO manipulation, but when I cannot find something via Google or is so poor the quality of the results, I have to move to Yahoo and then Bing if necessary to get exactly what I'm looking for.

I use the Google search engine, which is excellent considering this is the only search engine I use. I used to like the MSN search engine, but that was way before Google got so popular about everything. I sometimes think the MSN search engine works smoother than the Google search engine. I still prefer Google search before it's just convenient for me to just search things off the google search section on the Internet Explorer browser.

I use Goodsearch because with every search, they give a penny to a cause of your choice. The results aren't as good as google I think, but for some basic searches it's no problem. I think they are powered by yahoo search? Also, they don't let you look up certain keywords that are NSFW, which I think is funny.

I mostly use Google just because I'm used to it. I think Google is the most popular because it has been around for so long and has a good reputation. I have tried Bing before but I didn't see a huge difference between the two. Maybe it depended on what I was searching. I just love Google honestly.

I use Bing most of the time, they have this rewards program thing and it's not much, but I mean a 5 dollar gift card once in a while for doing something that I was going to do anyway is pretty sweet. I think Google is a better engine, but Bing is good enough.

I personally like to use Google for its ease of use and due to the fact that the search results are much better than you get with other search engines online.

I have tried using other search engines like Swagbuck (cause I wanted to get some free stuff) but I have always come back to Google.

As a writer, I do a lot of research so that I can write articles etc. and Google has always been of great help with the research process.

Years ago when I first started using the internet I used this http://www.dogpile.com then I got away from it because Google (which I no longer use) seemed to be much be search results. I just went back there and it seems like they have made some improvements. I will try it again anyway.

I use Google most of the time, since I am in 'desktop' mode on my laptop. If I am on the tiles (I have Windows 8.1) I tend to use Bing as it's so much faster and easier on the tile screen.

Google, it has the best search algorithm and can find pretty much anything. You just have to use the right keywords and you'll find it if it exists.

I don't think I have used anything else than Google. Never had to, actually.

I like Duck Duck go because Google remembers my searches and tries to guess what I want. I don't like that, I feel like it gives me a narrow view of the results. I prefer DDG's unbiased search.

Personally, I just use Google. I don't worry about my safety so much since I don't really do anything wrong, on top of that all I really search for is for stuff related to school so I'm not interesting enough to spy on. I've used Google since I was really young and I really like it. Bing is okay too, but Google loads much quicker. Also, Google's image search customizations are really great, searching for transparent images is a blessing for doing PPTs.

I am with you! I much prefer Google search engine because it's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. You can just type whatever you want in the Google search box, then it will load as soon depending on the internet connection.
