I agree. I'm on the side of common sense as well.
In the Bible it states: Don't fool yourself. Don't think that you can be wise merely by being up-to-date with the times. Be God's fool—that's the path to true wisdom. What the world calls smart, God calls stupid. It's written in Scripture, He exposes the chicanery of the chic. The Master sees through the smoke screens of the know-it-alls.
what u say, i agree with, but what do you find more important when it comes to making your point and helping others, common sense, or does it take intelligence to come up with such a valid statement most people can understand, or a bit of intelligence to understand your meaning? i think most people who would be deemed "unintelligent" could understand what you said quite well. is that a matter of common sense, or intelligence, for the reader being able to understand your point, and for you being able to express it?
maybe they are hand in hand, im still trying to figure out the difference between the two as i type this, lol.
whatever the answer is, i hope in the case for common sense, and intelligence, that they are both used for a good purpose. what is deemed "common sense" should be great thoughts, that hurt nothing, and promote goodness. if something is going to be considered common, it should be thought of as good. and the same for intelligence. if something is deemed intelligent, then let it be based on its ability to not hurt anything, and promote goodness, like its counterpart.lol.
having said that, if they both promoted the welfare of existance, then i would have to find them equally important.
