South, but the back is north east. The sun rising every morning shines all in through the patio doors and the 2 windows. And our room, we have wall to wall floor to ceiling windows. After 4 years, i dont know why we havent gotten blackout curtains. Then again, the size that we need is hard to find and expensive to custom order. We've just learned to put our heads under the covers! LoL

My bedroom window faces west. However I have to be careful how I turn our blinds or the full moon will wake me shining on my face.

Mine faces east. My bedroom window is east. Working nights sucks. With the sun in my window before I even get home to sleep.

My home faces north. So it's quite windy and cold in winter. Hot in summer. Have to turn on air-con most of the time.

My apartment faces east. I have black out curtains in my bedroom so the morning sun doesn't bother me when I'm on nights. It's especially nice in summer as I don't have the afternoon sun and it's heat so it's a bit easier to keep the place cool.

my house faces south. So that we always get enough sunlight in the house in the morning and evening.
